At King’s Academy Binfield, we are committed to ensuring that every student has access to high-quality careers education and opportunities, regardless of their background or starting point. In line with Gatsby Benchmark 3, we work to recognise and address the different needs of our pupils so that all students are supported to explore their aspirations and make informed decisions about their futures. Our careers programme is designed to challenge stereotypes, broaden horizons and ensure that students are aware of the wide range of pathways available to them.

We work closely with organisations such as Speakers for Schools, DUCTU and Futures for All to provide targeted opportunities for students who may face additional barriers. Through these partnerships, students can access mentoring, workplace experiences, and employer encounters that help build confidence and raise aspirations. By bringing a diverse range of employers and role models into school, we actively challenge stereotypes and ensure that students can see people like themselves succeeding across a wide variety of industries and career paths. Our aim is for every student to feel empowered, informed and able to pursue the future that is right for them.
