Certificates

King's Academy Binfield offers a collection period for certificates following the end of each academic year (typically during the December and January following summer exams). Students are informed of collection arrangements at the time of issuing summer results in August and for students who are still at King's Academy Binfield Sixth Form, they are given out in an assembly. For students who are no longer at King's Academy Binfield, they can collect their certificates from 1st December 2023 by going to Main Reception. Students are reminded that the results that are issued in August are provisional and the only proof of grades are certificates.

When collecting their certificates, students must bring a valid ID for collection. For students who are unable to collect their certificates during that window, there are two options available to collect certificates:

Collection by another person

The candidate can nominate someone to collect on their behalf.  This must be done in writing (in advance via email by completing the relevant section on ‘Form 5 Alternative Arrangements for Certificate Collection’) – then that named individual must show a valid photo ID when collecting.

Uncollected Certificates

Please note that King's Academy Binfield are only required to retain uncollected certificates for a period of one year, after which point they may be securely destroyed in accordance with JCQ regulations.  We would like to make you aware that some Exam Boards do not offer a replacement certificate service and in such circumstances will issue a Certifying Statement of Results, which may incur a fee.

Lost Certificates
